Malaysian pop song/power ballad from 2008?

I was on holiday in Malaysia in 2008 (July and August) and there was a
song I kept hearing. I would love to know what it was so I can listen
to it again.

All I can remember is that it was a power ballad and had really
emotional sounding singing in the chorus, the singer was really
singing very loud and powerfully. I think it was a male vocalist.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this song could be?
